I loved the estate, it's amazing, very nicely decorated and smelled like wine when I arrived!
The gardens and pool are very beautiful, the view from the room and specially at sunrise was magnificent. The staff were friendly, specially the breakfast staff.
From the moment I arrived at Villa Dianella, nestled in the heart of Tuscany near Vinci, I knew my stay would be nothing short of magical. This 16th-century hunting lodge turned luxurious wine resort, with its rich history and breathtaking views of the Tuscan hills, offered an experience that was both enchanting and deeply relaxing.
As I wandered through the lush gardens, I was struck by the villa's serene beauty and the panoramic vistas that surrounded it. The infinity pool, overlooking the olive groves and vineyards, was a tranquil oasis where I spent many peaceful hours soaking up the Tuscan sun.
The charm of Villa Dianella extended to my accommodation as well. My suite, one of the villa's elegantly appointed rooms, was a perfect blend of classic Tuscan elegance and modern comfort. The attention to detail in the decor, with its fine furnishings and luxurious amenities, made my stay exceptionally comfortable.
Dining at Villa Dianella was a highlight of my visit. The on-site restaurant, Il Magazzino, served exquisite Tuscan cuisine made with the freshest local ingredients, many sourced from the villa's own gardens. Each meal was a culinary adventure, perfectly paired with the villa's own exquisite wines. The wine tastings and olive oil samplings, hosted in the villa's ancient cellars, were not only informative but a delightful sensory experience.
The staff at Villa Dianella deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and impeccable service. They went above and beyond to ensure my stay was memorable, offering personalized recommendations and sharing insights into the local culture and history.
One of the most unforgettable experiences was the bicycle tour through the surrounding countryside. Riding through the picturesque landscape of vineyards and olive trees, with stops at charming local villages, was like stepping into a postcard of idyllic Tuscany.
As I departed Villa Dianella, I took with me not just memories of a luxurious stay but a deeper appreciation for the beauty and rich heritage of Tuscany. Villa Dianella was more than just a place to stay; it was an immersion into a lifestyle where beauty, history, and the joys of the palate are celebrated in every moment. I am already longing for my next visit to this Tuscan paradise.
Amazing place, delicious pasta, great wine & very friendly stuff. Loved staying here - especially with our dog!
We loved everything about our stay. This place is incredibly tranquil, the staff is very kind and helpful and the view is breathless. Also, we learned a lot about the delicious Chianti wine.
Our third trip to Italy but 1st to the Tuscany region. The Villa is wonderfully adorned with stunning views and staff that is second to none. Property was undergoing renovations to add on-site merchandise store. We enjoyed several meals …
My friend and I are traveling through Tuscany with a campervan. On a website I found that this wine villa allows guests to stay with their camper in the parking area for the night. There are no facilities, but that is no problem for us. It’s an amazing spot with view on the wine and olive yards.
We made a reservation for a wine tasting & tour through the villa. The tour guide was Valentina, she did an amazing job and knew a lot about wine. She speaks several languages and surprisingly also Dutch! I loved the history of the villa and to hear about the several products they make here nowadays. It’s not only wine and olive oil, but also cosmetics and candles.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed for dinner today, but the female (!!) owner of the winery and Valentina gave us some great recommendations. It’s a 20 min walk to town. Note that about 300 meters doesn’t have a pedestrian pathway, but there’s enough grass on the roadside to walk on. Not sure how that looks like in summer though with high grass!
I recommend this place if you are looking for a wine tour & tasting. They are doing some construction to expand their hotel availability, it looks so beautiful! I’ll definitely be back some day and stay in the accommodation.
Yesterday I was attending a wedding at Villa Dianella. The location was beautiful and the food was great. Unfortunately I was not able to taste the wine, but heard a lot of praise. That being said, I have to add that the service by the staff was extremely underwhelming. At the beginning of lunch, our glasses were not filled so when the groom and bride finished their speeches we could not give a toast. Someone had to search for the staff to ask for something to drink. This situation continued and worsened enormously during the afternoon. In the evening, starting from about 6pm, the service crew was obviously hiding from us. Nobody was at the bar. We searched again and found them in the kitchen. We asked politely if someone could come down and prepare drinks for us. They were rolling their eyes at us, one man then came down. He was so unfriendly, I have no words for that. He left immediately after pouring one round. We had to go behind the bar then and prepare our own drinks. For the last hour, him and a waitress reappeared, but not at the bar. They were standing at the end of the room with arms crossed in front of their chest and such annoyed expressions. They were glaring at us the whole time. Many guests were irritated and felt like intruders to this place. We had to leave at 21.40, because they told us abruptly to stop the music and go home. Before we left, I told the two staff members that their behavior during the whole evening had been very irritating. They told me that they were tired and wanted us to leave because they had to start work at 7am. I understand that this is hard work and can be exhausting. But this is not the fault of the guests and the couple who chose this place to celebrate the greatest day of their lives.
Beautiful views, such a tradition and culture inherited from Medici family and kept alive by Veronica and her family.
Definitely a lovely place, I strongly suggest a visit.
